White & Black Point

White Point

This control is for fine-tuning the brightest pixels. Use this to set the white point in an image. This control will also affect how much Radiant Photo will target the brightest areas of a photo.

Black Point

Another control for fine-tuning exposure in Black Point.  This is used to set the black point in your image. This controls where our exposure adjustment is made.  Radiant Photo will affect fewer black areas if you use a higher value.

*Check for Clipping: You can open up the Histogram tool and then click the checkboxes in each upper corner to see clipping. The Shadow clipping indicator in the Histogram display to visualize Cold Pixels.  Any area that shows as Blue indicates that those pixels register as pure black.  Avoid pushing too many pixels into this zone, or you can lose image details. The red pixels indicate areas that are too bright and should also be handled carefully.
