Radiant Manager is a useful application that helps keep all your software and add-ons up to date. It is a utility that can solve many problems, and it’s good to use it occasionally.
How to Launch
Radiant Manager can be easily launched from within Radiant Photo. Just look in the lower right corner of the screen. Click the Open Radiant Manager button. You’ll also find it located in the folder with your Radiant Photo software.
You may also see an update telling you that it needs to open.
What if Radiant Manager opens on its own?
We know you’ve all become accustomed to closing popup windows… please don’t in this case. If an update is available, the Radiant Manager may open and prompt you to update your software. Up to once a day, your plugin will check in to our website to see if an update is available. If there is, the Radiant Manager will launch, and you’ll be prompted to run the update.
How to update your software
If an update is available… click the Update button.
To prevent any problems, make sure to quit any host applications such as Photoshop or Lightroom Classic as well as Radiant Photo when running an update.
What else can it do?
The Radiant Manager is pretty useful (we call it RadMan for short). It can solve a few more problems too.
Change your language
Just click the gear icon in the lower left corner, and you can set the language used. Normally Radiant Photo will detect your system language, but this is an override.
Manage licenses
You can activate or deactivate your own licenses here. This lets you move Radiant Photo to a new computer. Each license key is good for two computers in the same household.
Add new presets and LOOKs
You’ll find extra cool add-ons.
- Looks that show up in the Color Grading workspace.
- Presets which give you new recipes to edit with.
Even Radiant Manager needs updates
Less often, but from time to time, we push out updates for Radiant Manager. Be sure to keep it current too.
