A preset is simply a combination of adjustments or a recipe that’s been designed to solve a specific problem. You can save your own presets as well as easily modify built-in ones using the Adjustment controls. Presets are a great way to get the recommended adjustments for your image. Simply choose a preset that best matches your image’s subject.
- Preset | Standard presets can be grouped into collections and browsed in a list or thumbnail view. You can have multiple preset collections loaded at one time.
- Smart Preset | Smart Presets have AI Scene detection connected to a set of parameters. You can only load one set of Smart Presets at a time. They also can be viewed as a list or thumbnail view.
While presets are useful, remember they are really just a starting point. Presets cannot be combined or “stacked” but can be modified. Choose the one that solves most of your problems and then customize it with the Adjustment controls. You can then make your own presets to apply combinations of your favorite adjustments.
