The left panel helps you control your view of the image. It also assigns and manages workflows, develop settings, and legacy presets.
Navigator
The ‘Navigator’ shows the entire image you are working on, with the area in the preview panel outlined in red. Click and drag the red rectangle to pan your image to a different location. You can also drag the zoom slider to zoom in or out.
Workflows
Radiant Photo 2 offers workflows tailored to specific photography genres. The default workflow set is called Radiant Photo—Core, but you can optionally install others as add-ons. Each specialized workflow is extensively trained to recognize a variety of scenes, enabling more precise photo development based on the subject in the image. Workflows include specific color correction and film emulation looks. Radiant Photo 2 combines speed with quality, using intelligent scene recognition to deliver precise edits quickly and effortlessly.

Develop Collections
When an image is first opened, it is compared to the active workflow you have loaded. It is scored and matched to the closest scene based on a detailed analysis. This scene then recommends a group of editing settings for developing the photo based on a combination of scene detection and the properties of the individual file. These Develop Settings use scene detection to recognize the content of your image and apply the correct settings.
While a default adjustment is applied for each scene, you still retain complete control over the photo. Generally, the default setting is pretty neutral but designed to be used on a photo with little to no preprocessing. Depending on your preference, you may want a lighter or stronger change.
Presets (Legacy)
This section contains presets created in Radiant Photo version 1. You can import presets by clicking the More menu ( … ) in the Presets (Legacy) banner.
On the application’s first launch, you’ll be offered the option of a one-time migration of all presets and looks from Radiant Photo version 1.
These presets can contain traditional and smart settings to speed up your editing. However, they do not use the Workflows or scene detection options to allow for greater customization or accelerated matching.
