Performance Improvements

Some useful improvements.

  • Improve overall stabilityharder, better, faster, stronger – Daft Punk,
  • Photoshop Plugin logs version number – so we can better understand any bugs or support issues.
  • Show M1 or Intel arch on the version number – An A means ARM processor (m1/M2), and an I means Intel processor for macOS users. This way you know you installed the correct version of the App.
  • Aligned Smart Presets and Presets Buttons – It drives is nuts when buttons aren’t aligned… if you feel the same way… smile.

Usability Fixes

We’re always striving to make Radiant Photo faster and easier to use. Thanks to those of you who took the time to file bugs and work with our Support team.

  • Mac Desktop app becomes unresponsive when batch processing – You’ll get fewer hangups… even with less RAM.
  • Issue Saving Files if stored at the Top of a Hard Drive – We’ve made it easier to store files on drives… especially if you don’t pick a folder. But from one photographer to another… use Folders.
  • Wrong zoom and pan of the rotated images – If you saw that the Before and After images seemed strange on rotated… you were right. If this still happens… now you’re wrong.
  • Fixed a crash on very small images – For those of you still shooting with really, really, really old digital cameras…. we’ve got you covered.
  • Fixed a rare correction artifact when using Light Diffusion at low strengths – If you sometimes saw banding in the sky or really bright areas… this should be fixed. We’ve got no funny joke here, this bug sucked, and we’re glad it’s gone.
